A Chaplain's Credentials
 
  • The Chaplain is first and foremost a person of God, duly ordained, licensed or commissioned, and appointed as an approved and experienced representative of his/her denomination or church.
  •  
    His/her responsibility is to assist police officers upon request, in matters within the Chaplain 's realm.
  • He/she shall not in any way interfere with an officer in the performance of the officer's duties.
  • The Chaplain shall carry on his/her person proper identification issued by the administration of the Placer County Law Enforcement Chaplaincy.
  • The Chaplain shall properly identify himself/herself to the ranking law enforcement officer on the scene he/she has been called to.
  • The Chaplain's ID shall NEVER be used as off duty ID to gain favor, or in any manner conflicting with the ethics of ministry of any Law Enforcement Agency.
