Placer County Law Enforcement Chaplaincy is a field service ministry to the members of Law Enforcement, their families, and the citizens of Placer County. PCLEC continually provides the service of trained, critical incident Chaplains on a 24 hour, 7 days a week basis. This vital Chaplaincy program is comprised of a team of specially trained licensed or ordained ministers who volunteer their time to help others. They must complete a FTO program and attend monthly trainings on topics such as crisis response and intervention, death notifications, critical incident stress, suicides, homicides, crime scene logistics, trauma care, hostage situations, bereavement and grief, domestic violence, and sexual assault issues, to name a few. All Chaplaincy services are offered at no cost to any individuals, families, or agencies.
