Placer County Law Enforcement Chaplaincy provides...
 
  • CRISIS RESPONSE: Emergency callouts 24 hour/7day a week basis.

 

  • CRITICAL INCIDENT RESPONSE: On-scene response to horrific crime scenes, trauma locals, disasters, etc.

 

  • ON-SCENE RESPONSE: Providing assistance, support and defusing law enforcement and emergency personnel, as well as for victim’s family members, friends, or bystanders, allowing first responders and emergency personnel to work more freely.

 

  • CRISIS INTERVENTION: Provide mediation or intervention for people in crisis situations.

 

  • DEATH NOTIFICATIONS: On-call to respond to agencies to perform death notifications as requested.

 

  • COUNSELING SERVICES: For law enforcement families (job, marriage, family, stress), including grief and crisis counseling.

 

  • CRITICAL INCIDENT STRESS MANAGEMENT: Provided as requested for any and all law enforcement and emergency personnel, as we as to any other vicarious victims of a horrific or traumatic event.

 

  • FOLLOW-UP: To homes or hospitals to visit victim’s family, friends, or neighbors, as well as visits to sick or injured officers.


PCLEC responds to a range of incidents, including homicides, suspicious deaths, suicides, SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome) deaths, kidnappings, traffic fatalities, domestic violence, school tragedies, search and rescue, hazmat incidents and industrial accidents, to name a few. Additionally, the PCLEC team offers trained Critical Incident Stress Management and provides resources and vital information for emergency food and clothing, transportation and/or shelter, and referrals to a broad network of public and private agencies.
