“As someone who has no background or experience in law enforcement or chaplaincy, I enrolled in the academy not knowing what to expect. The information and hands-on training from the academy provided me with the skills to come alongside those in crisis and to help families with next steps and providing resources they may need. It is a true privilege to serve the community in this way. Being able to love on families frees up law enforcement to focus on other things, knowing the family is being well cared for.
Being a PCLEC chaplain is one of the biggest blessings in my life.”
